The Centerville GA real estate market has been topsy turvy all year, and the December market kept that theme alive, as sales were down but the sales price went up from the November totals. There were plenty of consumers out looking, but those that bought homes in December, did so in other areas of Houston County. No reason for sellers to panic as there are still good real estate deals in Centerville GA and patient homeowners will get plenty of opportunites to sell their homes in 2013.

November homes that sold were on the market for only 112 days (on average) and the average sales price was just over $177K.  Homes are selling but sellers need to ensure their home is well maintained to be competitive in this market.

What can consumers expect from the Centerville GA Real Estate market?  Since July, this market has been sluggish with sales below the 12-month average, and October was no different.  With over 27 months of available inventory, buyers are taking their time, and purchasing only when conditions are favorable to them.

It is critical for sellers to heed your Realtors advice and price your home according to the current Centerville real estate conditions.  The average sales price of homes sold in October was almost $158K and those homes were on the market for 144 days on average.  In comparison, the yearly average is just over $182K and 112 days.
