Things to do in Middle Georgia: Wings and Wheels Car Show (2021)

Another Warner Robins GA event is on the horizon!  Rev up those engines as the Wings and Wheels Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show arrives on Saturday, November 13th to benefit the National STEM Academy.  Come out to the Museum of Aviation and get a glimpse of over 200+ magnificent vehicles presented by Jeff Smith Automotive and hosted by TDG Auto and the Central Georgia Mustang Club.

Registration is from 8am to 11am ($25 vehicle fee and $15 motorcycle fee), immediately followed by the class judging from 11am to 2pm, and culminating with the awards ceremony at 3pm. The first fifty registrants will receive a gift bag and guests can participate in a 50/50 raffle.

Participating vehicles will be judged on appearance and appeal with a concentration on the interior, exterior, paint, and engine. Last year’s “Best in Show” award recipient is ineligible to win the same award this year.

Museum of Aviation Information

The Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins GA is located 10 miles east of I-75 (exit 144) at the end of Russell Parkway, adjacent to Robins Air Force Base, in Warner Robins, Georgia. The museum is the 2nd largest U.S. Air Force museum, and the fourth most visited Department of Defense museum. Not only is it one of the largest aviation museums in the U.S., it is one of only ten to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.

Over thirty years ago the museum opened after extensive planning and preparation with twenty aircraft displays, and another twenty aircraft undergoing restoration. Today, the sprawling 51 acre complex is home to nearly 100 aircraft, 4,000 artifacts, 22 permanent displays, and over 200,000 square feet of exhibit and education space spanning a century of flight.

There is plenty to see and do at the Museum of Aviation and they host many different events throughout the year with something to interest everyone. Those interested in attending the Wings and Wheels Car Show should bring some lawn chairs to rest and enjoy the sights and sounds after viewing the vehicles on display.
