4th of July Celebrations in Middle Georgia (2019)
There are few things more American than 4th of July celebrations! With cookouts, boating, beach fun, live music, plenty of time with friends and family, and of course fireworks, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the 4th of July Celebrations in Middle Georgia.
Pick one, some or all of the events this year as they all fall on different days. Fortunately, there are several locales in our area that will be having 4th of July celebrations this year.
Perry Chamber of Commerce Independence Parade & Freedom Fireworks
The Perry Chamber of Commerce will be kicking-off the Independence Day celebrations in Houston County with their free Independence Parade & Freedom Fireworks on Saturday, June 29th. This year’s theme is Perry’s Patriotic Pride with a local 93-year old veteran serving as the Grand Marshal. The parade featuring our Hometown Heroes, local military units, festive floats, and Uncle Sam will begin on Washington Street at 10am. Follow the parade to Main Street and then General Courtney Hodges Boulevard ending at the Georgia National Fairgrounds . Later that evening when it gets dark come out to view the fireworks at the Georgia National Fairgrounds (West Gate).

Perry Chamber of Commerce Freedom Fireworks
The Perry Chamber of Commerce will present the Independence Parade & Freedom Fireworks on Saturday, June 29th with picnic style celebration to begin at the Georgia National Fairgrounds (West Gate) at 7pm. There will be food vendors on site, but you are welcome to bring your own coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets to enjoy the live music and fireworks show. It is prohibited to bring alcohol, pets, or personal fireworks to this event. The firework celebration will begin at dark!

Centerville Independence Day Celebration
The City of Centerville will be hosting their 6th annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, June 28th from 6pm – 9:30pm. The event held at Centerville City Hall will include entertainment, live music, kid-friendly activities, and a grand finale fireworks show at 9:30pm. The fireworks display will be viewable from the Centerville City Hall and the Galleria Mall.

37th Annual Independence Day Celebration Concert and Fireworks Show
The 37th Annual Independence Day Celebration Concert and Fireworks Show presented by the City of Warner Robins Government and the Warner Robins Convention and Visitors Bureau will be held this year on Wednesday, July 3rd. This year, the Georgia native and The Voice singer, Rebecca Howell will be opening for the hit band, Better Than Ezra.
The gates will open at 6pm, the opening acts begin at 7:20pm, and the live concert by Better than Ezra will be at 8:30pm. The much anticipated Robins Financial Credit Union Fireworks Extravaganza plans to be just as big as last year’s.
Plan to be amazed with the pyro-musical fireworks show synchronized to music with over 3,000 shots planned and diligently choreographed.
