HUD Homes in Houston County Georgia
HUD’s, mission is “to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all…” Any 1-to-4 unit residential property that is in foreclosure and has a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) insured mortgage is considered a HUD home. HUD homes are sold “as-is” and are priced at fair market value for their locale. Buyers must use a real estate agent to bid on HUD homes and are required to follow specific HUD bidding rules when making offers.
